I'm Sara De Pietro, an event manager with over 12 years of hands-on experience.
I started out in the MICE sector — meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions — where I built my method in the field: attention to detail, risk management, and the ability to hold many moving parts together without losing control.
Since 2022 I've worked as an independent event manager based in Italy, delivering large-scale events that could hardly be more different from one another: incentive programs, trade shows, festivals, and concerts. I work in Italian, English and Spanish, with both Italian and international clients. Every event has its own identity. The audience changes, the objectives change, the constraints change. The method stays the same.
That variety taught me one thing: behind every large event, however different from the last, there are recurring elements and just as many specific details that have to be recognized and handled case by case, with the same care.

My approach
What I bring to every project
It matters to me to understand from the very start what really counts for the person handing me the project: the needs, the preferences and the expectations of the client and, where relevant, those of the end client too.
Another thing that shapes the way I work is calm. Even on the most intense projects, through long days and extreme temperatures, I never lose it.
I like to stay clear headed in the way I run the work, and never stop smiling at the people working with me: on long event days I think it is essential to keep the mood steady for the whole team and for every collaborator.
