I have worked as an event manager for over twelve years, based in Rome with projects across Italy. People come to me when an event is too important to be handled in spare moments, and when they need someone to take responsibility for it from start to finish.

Event management services
What's included, end to end.
The service covers the entire life cycle of the event. You can hand me all of it, or only the stages where you need support: the structure stays the same.
Strategy and concept
Before planning anything, we define what the event has to achieve and for whom. The format, the tone and every choice that follows come from there. If the concept already exists, I take it as it is and work on that.
Planning and budget
I build the work plan with timings, responsibilities and deadlines, and set up the budget with the real cost lines. The budget is updated throughout the project, so you always know where you stand, not only at the end.
Supplier scouting and coordination
Selection of venue, catering, set-up, audio and lighting services, hosts, transport, security. I gather the quotes, compare them on equal terms and hold the relationship with the suppliers for the whole project.
Team management
I define the roles of everyone working on the event and make sure each person knows what to do and who to report to. That is how I keep the whole event running smoothly, in a straight line and on time.
Production and event day
I am on site from build-up to break-down. I coordinate the crews, handle whatever goes off plan and make the decisions that cannot wait.
Closing and reconciliation
After the event I check the invoices against what was agreed, close the reconciliation and hand you the final cost picture during a full event debrief that we go through together. It is the stage that almost always gets skipped, and it is the one you need in order to plan and improve the next edition.

- First call. You tell me about the event: objectives, dates, numbers, constraints. Together we establish whether we're a good fit.
- Proposal. I send you an outline of what the event requires, a first timeline, and a proposal for working together.
- Planning. I build the work plan and the budget, then we review them together.
- Coordination. I manage vendors and crew, keep you updated as we go, and send you regular progress reports.
- Event. I'm on site, running the event from start to finish.
- Wrap-up. I handle budget reconciliation, the final report and the debrief.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I get in touch?
It depends on the type of event. For structured events I am usually contacted between a year and six months ahead.
If your timings are tighter, write to me and tell me more about what the event needs: we will work out the best form of support together.
Do you only work in Rome?
I live in Rome, but I work across Italy and travel abroad as well.
Can I hand you only part of the event?
I usually work on the full management of the project, or on part of it when the event is highly structured and therefore needs more than one project manager.
